On 3 June 2026, Romanian scholar Radu Magdin visited SIES and discussed the
topic “How China Can Revamp and Resume Its Strategic Projects in the CEE
Region” with SIES experts. Participants included Professor Ding Chun, President

Director of the Center for Central and Eastern European Studies at Shanghai
